Making A Purchase Making a purchase is as simple as it seems. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping trolley. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to receive your payment and despatch the goods.

If you decide you want to put something back on the shelf you can cancel right upto the last screen and edit your order in 'Wot's in the trolley'

If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order, and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to use the secure 256-bit encypted on-line ordering facility email us us for alternative arrangements.

Shipping And Handling Postage and packing charges are related to the product. For most products it is about £6.00 in the UK subject to a maximum of £7.00 as you buy more products We try to keep carriage costs down but these can change from those stated here and the last time you bought. You can check before submitting your payment details.

Carriage for Kayaks starts at £30 and you need to select the correct pricing at checkout. If you don't then we will contact you and withold despatch until full payment is made.

For single items worldwide we use Royal mail and we can ship to an address other than the billing address. For larger orders we use carries such as City Link, Nightfreight and Parcelforce worldwide.

If you don't receive your purchases within 7days plus the availability time, you must tell us so we can replace it for you and track down the missing parcel.

Delivery Schedule The approxiamte availability is stated next to each item. UK orders are sent by next day services and international orders are generally received in under 5 days. Stock availabilty is approximate only and can change by the second, if you order and we are out of stock, we will tell you and offer you a full refund.
Back Orders If for some reason we cannot deliver within the specified availability we will email you with a new availability and ask if you want to cancel or continue with the order. No money will be taken from your account until we are ready to dispatch.
Tax Charges Prices shown are without sales tax/VAT. Because it is normal in the UK to see prices inclusive of VAT we have shown this in the text. Prices used for calculations are exclusive of taxes.

All orders dispatched to European countries pay 17.5% tax and will be added on when you checkout.

All orders dispatched to non-EU countries are tax exempt and you will pay the local import duty and sales tax when it arrives in your country. This is sometimes collected by your local postal service.

The US treasury explains simply the procedure for the US, and we believe most countries have similar systems.

When you checkout, the first screen shows the UK VAT at 17.5% added, don't worry if you are outside the EC as the next screen (where you fill in your name) allows you to exempt yourself from VAT.

We will add back the VAT if you exempt the order and delivery is within the EU.

For EU traders who are VAT registered, we require a fax of your VAT certificate before you can exempt the order.

Credit Card Security Security is perhaps the most important issue for shopping on the Internet. That's why we've done everything possible to ensure that using your credit card with The Watershed is safe.

You can always phone us with your credit card details. If you want to phone us with your details, simply email us with your order and we will phone you back. You can email us with your details if you wish.

Guarantee All our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects, all you have to do is advise us by email, await confirmation and return the goods.(Due to the fragility of latex seals they are not covered by the guarantee). You have a 'no quibble' guarantee on unused products whereby you can return the goods upto 7 days after receiveing them Your statutory rights are not affected.

After we have received the goods and verified the defect we will immediately dispatch a replacement, refund the cost within 30 days of receipt of the goods or credit you against another product. It's your choice.

If you want to exchange sizes or be refunded, simply email us before returning the unused goods to us and we'll send another to you (as long as you haven't used it).
